Join Us for the High Holidays

The High Holidays will be different at Temple Beth El this year. While our services might look and feel different, we are committed to providing a High Holiday experience that honors our core values: safety, community, and meaning. For more information, please read this letter from our President, Chuck Cohen and Rabbi Asch.

The majority of our services will be held via Zoom. To view the full High Holiday schedule, please click here. If you need the Zoom login information, please contact our office at: 207-622-7450.

Temple Beth El members should have received a High Holiday mailing at the beginning of August. Please return your Survey and Yizkor forms no later than Monday, August 24th.

Our services use the Reconstructionist Machzor (prayer book) and honor tradition while being accessible to everyone. Our prayer book includes transliteration for all the Hebrew and many of our services include interactive discussions. We hope you will join us for the holidays if you are visiting, new to town, or looking to be involved in Jewish life.
